| Achievements 2012 : | - Onchocerciasis Control (estimation) : 1,458,000 peopel treated in over 4,239 villages ; 3,837,650 Ivermectin tablets have been distributed by over 6,583 village agents ;
24,000 ophthalmological consultations have taken place in three eye care centres supported by the OPC (Kankan, Siguiri, Macenta)
3,990 operations (cataract and trichiasis)
- 2 year grant agreement from the SightFirst Programme run by Lions Club International Foundation to support primary and secondary eye health care and advanced and mobile cataract surgery in the regions of Kankan, N’Zérékoré and Faranah
