The OPC on the RFI radio at 11h50am


Today, Professor Resnikoff, the President of the OPC will be on the Radio France Internationale (RFI), at the beginning of the “Priorite Santé” programme at 11h50am.

Specialist in ophthalmology, public health and tropical medicine, formerly in charge of the fight against blindness and deafness at the World Health Organization, Professor Resnikoff will talk about both international meetings organized by the Organization for the Prevention of Blindness (OPC) that will take place in Paris from 18-25 September. Teses meetings will assemble all international bodies active in programmes for blindness and neglected tropical diseases (NTD) control.

Topic : "the feasibility of these programmes, especially the inequalities in access to care for people in Anglophone Africa and Francophone Africa, which are clearly disadvantaged."
